So I wanted more length during the period I'm growing my hair. I didn't want weave or braids because they're expensive and I'm worried about ruining the progress I made with my edges. So I decided to get clip-in extensions which were still too expensive about £40 ($55) so I made them myself. The nice man at the shop gave me a tutorial. I bought one pack of 12-inch Milky Way human hair colour 2, 12 wig clips and a sewing needle with weave thread for about £21 ($35). Here are some pictures:
I cut pieces of the weave and sewed them to the wig clip it was that simple:
The reason the hair is so light is my hair has randomly decided to turn brown especially at the roots I plan to dye my hair dark brown later on but that's another story. Here are 2 pictures of them clipped in:
Obviously during the Winter I am trying to protect my ends so I only wear these once or twice a fortnight.
HHJ! xx
I have wanted to make clip-in's for ages but I am a weave virgin so finding the right one would be a nightmare.. But i will go and have a look at the milky way... good post
