One of many big salads I enjoyed :)
Duomo Cathedral
Galleria Vittorio Emmanuelle
Inside the building...they had an Armani cafe (5 euros for a tiny cup of coffee better be free refills)
Me being a typical tourist
This street had sooo many labels- Dior, Celine, Giuseppe Zannoti, Armani, Versace, Prada, Gucci...you get the picture!
Obviously provided inspiration for this menu
Hotel we stayed at (it provided breakfast and had a spa with a sauna, turkish bath and gym)
We caught a race happening- I cannot believe a triathlon occurred during 34 degree weather
Me and one of my many cocktails I tried (my favourites were: Amaretto di sonno, Pina Colada and Mai Tai)
Tips for Milan:
- DO change Euros at the airport or before you travel, the exchange rate is terrible
- DO take mosquito repellent if you are travelling during Summer and plan to be out after 6pm
- DO travel by Metro, the 8.25euro 2 day unlimited travel pass is a bargain
- DO remember whenever and wherever you eat there will be a 2-2.50euro cover charge added (per person)
- DO be wary of taxis. Metro is cheaper, a taxi ride to our hotel was 95euros, by train it was 11.50 per person
