How I Trimmed My Natural Hair...

My hair has been due for a trim for about the last 3 months. I decided to do it myself because it's cheaper and I don't trust UK hairdressers. I have been experiencing a significant increase in single strand knots and this is when I knew I had to trim:

These Scissors were £4.49 from Superdrug:

I wet each section then applied conditioner then detangled with my Denman brush. I then pulled the hair taut and trimmed the end:

It doesn't look much but considering it is curly if straightened out it would look longer. I washed my hair the next day - it felt much better! I'm so glad I trimmed my hair- health over length.
