London Girly Monthly Rundown

I have been buying… even more Summer clothes! Yes I shouldn't have, but I did. I guess I work hard so I wanted to treat myself :). The haul video is below.

I have been eating at…Nandos and Pizza Express. Last time I went to Nandos I got a half chicken, halloumi cheese (omg yummy), pitta bread, rice and garlic bread. I ate it allll lol. I also went to a dessert parlour and had waffles with white chocolate sauce and a scoop of Ferrero Rocher ice cream. Fattening but worth it :)

I have visited… the park quite a lot, the weather has been lovely in London and look what I spotted:

Best Bargain...honestly I can't think of one! Oh dear.
I have achieved…increasing fitness levels...I think lol. As I am on holiday I plan (and have been for the last week) to hit the gym 4x week- swim once, weights class, spin class and step class. I'm loving it!
Afrobeat track of the month...nope I'm going to choose an afrobeat video of the month. I LOVE the way this video was filmed and directed. Even if I hated the dancing (which I don't I LOVE and I'm jealous lol) I'd be able to appreciate the effects in the video- amazing. I was blown away by the talent in the video- and they're all from London :)

I've been reading...Steve Harvey's 'Think Like A Man, Act Like A Woman'. I read it cover to cover and I could read it again lol. Immediately after watching the film my friend and I turned to each other and said 'we need to get this book'!
Next month I’m looking forward to…my BIRTHDAAAAY! And of course my holiday to Jamaica.
Next month I hope to splash some cash on…rum, it is my favourite drink and I'll be in Jamaica so why not! ;)

NEW! Kinky Curly Style Lace Front Wig

I know, I KNOW I said I wouldn't order another wig *bows head in shame* however I really wanted a wig that would mimic my natural hair. This doesn't lol, but it is a step closer to an afro kinky texture. It is described as a Jerry Curl (I know), 14 inch lace front wig and I purchased from lacewigsfront.com. This is my go-to vendor and a very quick review is here. This wig did take a month to order (considering my last 2 wigs came within 1 week this is a long time) and I was slightly worried. I did e-mail them twice and they responded promptly and courteously stating they would have to make a custom order because they had none in stock. Anyway enough description here are the pictures and an unboxing video :)

I am honestly surprised at the fact that we are now more than halfway through 2012! Omg. Anyway just had to state that on to my monthly rundown.
I have been buying… even more Summer clothes! Yes I did another haul video to prepare for my holiday to Jamaica (I depart August 18th) if you are interested watch the video below :)

I have been eating at… the fish and chip recently. Well I don't like fish so I have had steak and kidney pie with chips and steak and kidney pudding with chips. I loved it! Don't judge me *covers eyes*. Also just to add I attended a lovely street party for the Jubilee (it was my street lol) and indulged in scones with jam, samosas, onion bhajis and more!
I have visited… the shops quite alot- at least 4 seperate times lol. I love shopping and even though it is not quite Summer weather here yet, I just love the clothes in the high street.
Best Bargain… my free tastecard! If you read these monthly rundowns you know I love food! I ordered a free tastecard for 50% off meals at certain restaurants. It expires the end of July so you know I will be using the heck out of it.
I have achieved…the end of my NQT year. I am officially a qualified teacher! Woop :)
Afrobeat track of the month...I'll choose a fresh one, I love Eja- Backseat but since I cannot find the video for it - Azonto Fiesta by Sarkodie ft Appietus (love them both! Legends) will be more than suitable :)

I've been reading...not much, however next month I will be definitely purchasing some Jodi Picoult books for my holiday.
Next month I’m looking forward to…six weeks off work (hey it's a perk of teaching!)
Next month I hope to splash some cash on…some more summer clothes- I know, but I need some denim shorts, more sandals, a maxi skirt...the list never ends!

How I have been wrapping my hair...

Usually I just tie my hair into a low bun and wrap it in a scarf to go to sleep. However I wanted to preserve my roller set from my relaxer on Friday so I have been trying to wrap my hair. I watched this video by ulovemegz for directions:
